 The California Thoroughbred Breeders Association, founded in 1937, is dedicated to the advancement of Thoroughbred breeding and racing in the state and is the legal registering agency for California-bred Thoroughbreds, administering $30 million annually in purses and bonuses available to breeders and owners of horses bred in the state.
