Questroyal North’s Barry Ostrager having a year to remember

If it’s New York, if it’s news, you can bet Barry Ostrager is right in the center of it. Ostrager, one of the leading figures in the New York breeding industry for many years, has had a breakthrough year in 2012, becoming heavily involved in almost every major aspect of the sport from racing and breeding to politics.

In January the 59-year-old native of the Bronx, N.Y., was re-elected president of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders to go along with his position as a member of the New York Racing Association board of directors.
