Detour or Destiny? Sometimes an unexpected twist or turn can affect a life’s direction. For instance when the steam boiler exploded at itta Bena High School in rural Mississippi one September morning, the blast would push a 17-year-old boy named James “Sweet” Hodges toward an unanticipated career as an accomplished trainer of Thoroughbred racehorses.
