Untapable Schools in the Paddock

Yesterday, on April 29, I had the opportunity to watch Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) morning line favorite Untapable have a schooling session in the Churchill Downs paddock. The daughter of Tapit acted cool, calm, and professional as she stood in the schooling stall, and was then led around the paddock walking ring under the watch of trainer Steve Asmussen.

Will you be rooting for this filly, who is the 4-5 morning line favorite in the Oaks? Asmussen has received a lot of negative press lately due to the controversial PETA situation, but the talents of Untapable, as well as her stablemate, Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) contender Tapiture, cannot be denied.

All controversy aside, Untapable is a beautiful filly in my opinion, and she looks fierce heading into the Oaks. With back-to-back graded stakes victories to her credit in the Fair Grounds Oaks (gr. II) and Rachel Alexandra Stakes (gr. III), and sharp workouts at Churchill, she seems hard to beat. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this filly!
