Chief photographer Anne M. Eberhardt shares her images of Thoroughbred racing

Anne M. Eberhardt is the Photography Director for Blood-Horse Publications, and has been an equine photographer for 25 years. Her images have appeared in publications worldwide and can be seen regularly in The Blood-Horse, The Horse and Keeneland magazines.

Anne regularly updates Through The Lens with her most recent shooting assignments and visits with some of her favorite Thoroughbreds as well. Anne also has a blog on TheHorse.com where she will cover her behind the scenes photo experience at the World Equestrian Games, being held for the first time in the United States, and Anne’s hometown, Lexington, Ky.

Anne presently lives in Versailles, KY, with her husband and daughter, both avid riders, along with several horses, dogs and cats. Anne enjoys photographing all breeds of horses, and capturing the personalities of the equine and human athletes. The year 2010 marks her first year covering the World Equestrian Games and her 25th covering the Kentucky Derby.
