ANDIS LAUNCHES EXCELT 5-SPEED WITH T-84 BLADE FOR HORSES
Groom Sensitive Areas at Lower Speeds, Body Coats at Higher Speeds

Sturtevant, WI (March 9, 2011) - Andis Company has introduced the EXCELT 5-Speed clipper for horses, a powerful new detachable blade clipper equipped with the T-84 blade and a maintenance free rotary motor. The clipper is quite versatile with a choice of five speeds ranging from 2500 to 4500 strokes per minute. Lower speeds are ideal for sensitive areas, and higher speeds deliver a smooth, uniform finish for the body coat.

"The EXCELT 5-Speed is an excellent clipper for all around grooming," notes Fred Koeller, Vice President of Marketing at Andis. "The T-84 blade is set 1 1/2 times wider than regular blades, so it clips more hair faster. It's a very quiet clipper, too, so even nervous horses stay calm during grooming." Finished in shiny silver, the EXCELT 5-Speed clipper is edged with a new anti-slip soft grip housing in black. It is contoured to fit comfortably in the hand and has a handy detachable blade that allows easy blade changes for clipping, trimming and cleaning. Its locking blade hinge keeps the blades securely in place.
