announced today that Equine Savings is the title sponsor of the 51st
running of the Equine Savings Elloree Trials.
Several trials will be named for Equine
Savings partners: The Toro, The Exmark, The Farm Paint and The Equine Savings.
The
Equine Savings Elloree Trials are run at the Elloree Training Center and is a
charitable event benefiting local charities.
This
year's races will be held on Saturday, March 23 at the Elloree Training Center
just outside of Downtown Elloree. Gates open at 8 a.m. and races begin at 1
p.m.
Packed with tailgaters and horse lovers, the Equine Savings Elloree Trials has
been a tradition in Elloree for over 50 years. Over the years, loyal supporters
from all over the southeast have had the opportunity to see flat racing at its
best, with many of the competitors going on to win major events, including the Kentucky
Derby and the Preakness Stakes.
Franklin
"Goree" Smith, President of the Palmetto Jockey Club, announced the
sponsorship: "Equine Savings has stepped up to support the entire South
Carolina Equine Community at the local level, and we sure need more companies
like them in our industry."

informing them about horseracing while offering them a day of fun. It means a
lot to us to let others enjoy the racing aspect of our profession," Smith

The
Equine Savings Elloree Trials benefits six different charities and
organizations in the area: the Lions Club, the Elloree Athletic Club, the
Evergreen Garden Club, the Knights
of Pythias, the Mentor Book Club and the Elloree Garden Club.
The Elloree Training Center is located just outside of downtown Elloree, S.C,
which is midpoint between, and an easy drive from, both
