A millionaire, Balance was retired in November of 2007 as a 4-year-old to Dr. and Mrs. John Chandler’s Mill Ridge Farm near Lexington, Ky.
By Kentucky Derby winner Thunder Gulch and produced from the 2008 Broodmare of the Year Vertigineux by Kris S., Balance is a half-sister to Zenyatta.

The first foal produced from Balance, an A.P. Indy colt, became the highest priced yearling of the 2010 Keeneland September yearling sale when the bay colt brought $4.2 million. Balance produced a chestnut Street Cry colt on Jan. 25, 2010, and presently is in foal to Street Cry on a March 24 cover.
