American Pharoah: Triple Crown Winner Returns To Track

 Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh returned to the race track for the first time since winning the June 6 Belmont Stakes.

Based in Barn 33 at Churchill, American Pharoah went to the track lead by Jimmy Barnes with Jorge Alvarez up. D. Wayne Lukas stopped by to chat with Bob Baffert while the horse was on the track.

The colt jogged around the track once and returned to the barn, walking the shedrow.

American Pharoah posed in front of the new Triple Crown and Kentucky Derby signs on the Baffert barn before getting his bath.

Fans young and old, came to greet the champion including Dr. William McGee, veterinarian and founding partner in Hagyards Equine Medical Institute based in Lexington, Ky. McGee has seen most of the 12 Triple Crown winners and came by to see American Pharoah, giving him carrots.
