"To be 'the MAN' you have to beat 'the MAN'... What does it take to convince you, or Harrington or the rest, after two wins over this horse already that "I'll Have Another" is now "THE MAN" !!!, just as I so stated after his Santa Anita win.  

 I think, that if there is a horse in this race that might beat "I'll Have Another" it is either "Bodebeyer" or "Went the Day Well" off of his Derby performance... "Creative Cause" and "Daddy Nose Best" are wild cards at best as potential deep underplays to fill a triple or a super in the race...

And, I would not be shocked by a stellar preformance from an up and comer here as we have no idea how the likes of a "Pretension", or the reat, and etc., might have grown... Regarding the new shooter "Zetterholm", he looks--on paper--as a horse much more bred for the Turf.

 Thusly, the other horse I personally will be heavy leaning toward and using as a play in this race,--The Maryland Preakness Stakes,--is the so far very lightly-sportswriter-mentioned "Teeth of the Dog", who ran a 151 1/8 in his maiden win, beating in that race "Went the Day Well"; is perfectly bred for this particular distance; is superly bred in his own right; and was coming on quite strongly to be a gamely 3rd right behind an undefeated Gemologist at Belmont recently in the *^&%*$.$@# Casino %,<!^#%#(@! N.Y. WOOD MEMORIAL ^@!$&!!!!... Thusly, thats my take and I'm sticking to it... Good day...

If any 4 for of my top 5 picks comes across in any order, I think I'll be happy... happiest if Cozz is near the top of that mix.

Let's get IHA to the winners circle just so marginal track people like myself are still interested, involved and betting when it comes to the Belmont.

IHA takes command at the top of the stretch, pulling away from a menacing Creative Cause and a persistant Went The Day Well - a tired Bode in fourth - a good five back. At least, thats how I'm hearing it on the little radio in my head at the moment. Anyway, IHA takes it, and then has his work cut out for him at Belmont.....

My top four matched the poll results and I am sticking to that.

I still am not buying this bode is a superstar just yet.. in order to try to make the payoffs be better, I'm going to hope he throws in the towel after 2 big races in 5 weeks and no foundation as a 2 yr old. I didn't like Creative Cause in the Derby, thankfully, but I don't know if he's really going to be such a long shot. Hopefully he will hit the board, though I am not seeing him better than my top 2:

The top contenders coming out of the Derby look pretty even to me.  Wouldn't be surprised to see a blanket finish with IHA, WTDW, CrCs, with Bode hitting quicksand at the 1/16 pole and gamely trying to hang on.  

After Cozzetti's extremely fast work the other day, he may be on the muscle.  He might be the bee buzzing around Bode's ear early in the race.
