Cheat Sheet: Keeneland November Sale

If anybody has any money left after the global financial meltdown, there are some top prospects among the weanlings, broodmares, stallion prospects, and the racing and/or broodmare prospects in the Keeneland November breeding stock sale. Following is a list based on a quick scan of first book in the catalog, which has information about the horses in the first two days of the auction. There also a lot of other well-bred, accomplished racehorses and producers in the mix that aren't included below.

Interesting, but it's the FTK sale that's really loaded this year.  They even have some top weanlings, which has been a weak spot in the past.  The quality of broodmares and broodmare prospects is astonishing.

I agree that the FT sale is loaded. But I did this because we had had a story on specific horses in their sale but not one on the horses in the Keeneland sale because Keeneland officials don't list specific horses in their pre-sale press release.

I have a filly in this sale how much do you think this sale will be down?

My guess would be 20% or more ovreall. And in the last days could be really brutal.
