The
2010 Triple Crown has only been in the history books for four days, and already there are
plenty of reasons to get excited about the second half of the racing
year. America's undefeated champion, Zenyatta, will bid this Sunday for
her 17th win without a loss in the Grade I, $250,000 Vanity
Handicap at Hollywood Park. The race, like all Hollywood races, can be
seen live on TVG. But if you don't get TVG, you can watch it for free at NTRA.com as
part of our NTRA Live! series.
We're still waiting to find out the precise
post time for the Vanity (the race draws on Thursday), but you can count on a
30-minute Webcast on Sunday, hosted by Randy Moss, that will bring you analysis
from Jay Privman, free Daily Racing Form past performances, interviews
with the Zenyatta camp, a live chat with NTRA.com's
Eric Wing, and, of course, the live, wire-to-wire running of the Vanity.
And the Vanity is just the beginning.
As the year progresses, NTRA Live! will continue to bring you key races at
NTRA-member racetracks that aren't available on network TV. Legally, we
are not able to obtain the video streaming rights for all the races you might
want to see, and we haven't yet finalized a schedule-in part because we want to
stay somewhat flexible with all of this so that we can bring you the very best
races available to us. But rest assured that we will do everything
possible to help you see the big stars and the prestigious contests on the path
to the Breeders' Cup World Championships.
I want to publicly thank Daily Racing
Form and Hollywood Park for their support of our NTRA Live!
initiative. Stay tuned for word of Sunday's showtime. And let
me know what other races you might like to see on NTRA Live! this summer and
fall.
