Keeneland Adds Useful Online Tool to September Yearling Sale Catalog

If you haven't done so already, check out the "mini catalog" tool on the Keeneland Sales site.  Who needs all 8 catalogs for the September sale when you're only interested in horses that meet a few specific criteria?

It couldn't be much easier to use.  Just search the catalog like you normally do (by hip, by sire or grandsire, by dam or damsire, by name or state foaled or sex or consignor or session, or by any combination of these criteria).  When you pull up a hip you'd like to save, click the "Mini Catalog" button and the tool will create a custom PDF booklet that you can browse online, save to your computer, or print.

I played around with this for a while and plugged in a lot of different searches.  Indicating one sire or grandsire, and one broodmare sire, is a good example.  (Try A.P. Indy (SRO) as sire over Storm Cat (SRO) as broodmare sire, for example -- here's the PDF that results.)

One enhancement I'd like to see is the ability to build a mini catalog over a series of multiple searches; right now, the only way I see to create the custom catalog is after a single search.
