Journeyman Stud Stallions Now on TrueNicks

Breeders will now have access to complimentary TrueNicks ratings for the stallions standing at one of Florida's leading stallion stations, Brent Fernung's Journeyman Stud. Journeyman stands six young sires at their Ocala facility. The roster is headlined by the Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash (gr. I) winner Wildcat Heir (TrueNicks, SRO). A son of Forest Wildcat and the Pentelicus mare Penniless Heiress, Wildcat Heir is currently represented by his first crop of yearlings.

Another grade I-winning sprinter at Journeyman is Touch Gold (TrueNicks, SRO)'s son Mass Media (TrueNicks, SRO), winner of the Forego Stakes (gr. I), who has first weanlings this year. Representing the Seattle Slew line at Journeyman is Saint Anddan (TrueNicks, SRO), who recently completed his first season at stud. A $1.85 million yearling, Saint Anddan won the Churchill Downs Stakes (gr. II) and has strong claims to be considered A.P. Indy (TrueNicks, SRO)'s fastest son. Another speedster - and by the up-and-coming Indian Charlie - is Journeyman stallion Bwana Charlie (TrueNicks, SRO), who won the Amsterdam Stakes (gr. II) and Lafayette Stakes (gr. III) and has first yearlings in 2008.

The Journeyman team is rounded out by Exclusive Quality (TrueNicks, SRO) - a stakes-winning son of Elusive Quality (TrueNicks, SRO) who defeated Bernardini (TrueNicks, SRO) in his winning racecourse debut, and set a track record for seven furlongs at Gulfstream Park - and Cashel Castle (TrueNicks, SRO) (by Silver Ghost), an unbeaten 2-year-old stakes winner who took the Lafayette Stakes (gr. III) by 4 1/2 lengths at 3.
