TrueNicks is
pleased to welcome two stallions from one of California's top stallion
stations, Magali Farms.
Grade II winner
Decarchy (TrueNicks,SRO) is California's reigning first-crop champion and he currently sits
atop the Golden State's second-crop standings. He is already the sire of four
black type runners from a moderate-sized first crop, including the 2008 stakes
winner Harlene. There is no better bred stallion in California - he is by Mr.
Prospector's European champion son Distant View out of the great Toussaud, dam
of four grade I winners including another leading second crop sire in Empire Maker (TrueNicks,SRO).
Of course, the pedigree of grade I winner Decarchy (TrueNicks,SRO) is
nothing to scoff at. He is by Nureyev out of the English champion mare Chimes
of Freedom, making him a half-brother to Eclipse champion sprinter Aldebaran,
as well as to a pair of other stakes winners. The pedigree only gets better the
deeper you go, with his fourth dam being Best In Show. This is the same female
line that has produced Better Than Honour, dam of two of the past three Belmont
Stakes (gr. I) winners. Good Journey was one of the top middle-distance turf
runners in North America in his racing days. His biggest win came in the Atto
Mile (gr. I) at Woodbine, before he posted a strong third place run in the
Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. I) to Domediver and Rock of Gibraltar. Good Journey
previously stood in Australia and his first North American crop are foals of
2008.
