TrueNicks is pleased to
welcome two of Kentucky's newest Thoroughbred stallions, J Be K and Zanjero.
J Be K (TrueNicks,SRO) will join the roster at Graham Beck's Gainesway
Farm in Lexington and he certainly has a lot going for him. He set a track
record in his debut win at Saratoga in August of his juvenile year. At 3,
he developed into one of the most feared sprinters on the East Coast after
three graded stakes wins, culminating in a dominant performance in the grade II
Woody Stephens S. on Belmont Stakes Day. J Be K's pedigree is just as speedy
and precocious. He is a son of Silver Deputy, sire of 2007 leading first-crop
sire Posse (TrueNicks,SRO)
, out of a mare by the Valid Appeal stallion Valid Wager, one of the top
first-crop sires of 2000.

Zanjero (TrueNicks,SRO) will stand at Ro Parra's Millennium Farm in
Lexington. He was one of the top competitors in the vintage 3-year-old crop
of 2006. That year he won a pair of graded events, the Indiana Derby (gr. II)
and the West Virginia Derby (gr. III), and placed in five other graded events,
including the grade I Bluegrass Stakes. At 4, he added two more stakes victories
to his resume, including a score in the grade II Kentucky Cup Classic. Zanjero is a son of 1999 champion first-crop
sire Cherokee Run (TrueNicks,SRO)
out of the A.P. Indy (TrueNicks,SRO) mare Checkered Flag, a sister to the #2
first-crop sire of 2000.
