Crestwood Farm will once
again provide free sireline nicks through TrueNicks for Kipling, Noble Causeway
and Unbridled Energy in 2009.
Kipling (TrueNicks,SRO)
began his career in Oklahoma before graduating to
Crestwood after his son Kip Deville captured the 2007 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr.
I). He certainly has the credentials to be any kind of sire, being by Gulch out
of a Weekend Storm, a half-sister to A.P. Indy (TrueNicks,SRO) and a full sister to Summer Squall. Weekend Storm is the dam of
three stakes winners, including Kipling's full brother Court Vision, winner of
the grade I Hollywood Derby in November.
Noble Causeway (TrueNicks,SRO)
is by Giant's Causeway, America's leading
sire of stakes winners in 2008. The $1.15 million yearling will be standing his
second year in 2009 after a racetrack career in which he placed in the grade I
Florida Derby and the grade III Ben Ali Stakes.
Unbridled Energy (TrueNicks,SRO)
is entering his third year at stud and
is one of several promising young sons of Unbridled's Song (TrueNicks,SRO)
at stud in Kentucky.
In his racing days, he took the grade III Marine S. as a 3-year-old and
captured the grade II San Fernando Breeders' Cup S. at Santa Anita at 4.
