Margaux Farm Offers Pedigree Nicking Tool for Kentucky and Pennsylvania Stallion Rosters

TrueNicks is pleased to
welcome Margaux Farm's five Thoroughbred stallions into the sire line nicking program.
Cryptoclearance (TrueNicks,SRO) is the veteran of the Margaux roster.
Among his nine stakes wins was the Florida Derby (gr. I) in 1987, a year when
the competition included Bet Twice, Gulch (TrueNicks,SRO)
, Gone West (TrueNicks,SRO), Afleet, Java Gold, and
Polish Navy. He's had a very successful second career with Breeders' Cup
Classic (gr. I) winner Volponi and Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Victory Gallop
among his 42 career stakes winners.
Devil His Due (TrueNicks,SRO) was also a nine-time stakes winner (4 grade
I's) on the track. He too has sired several good ones, including Dubai World Cup
(gr. I) winner Roses In May and the grade I-winning juvenile She's a Devil Due.
Grade I winner Kela (TrueNicks,SRO) gets his chance to shine next year
when his first juveniles enter the racing arena. Winner of the grade I Bing
Crosby Handicap and runner-up to Speightstown (TrueNicks,SRO)
in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I),
Kela hails from the female family of Dynaformer (TrueNicks,SRO)
Rounding out the grade I roster at Margaux's Kentucky
farm is The Cliff's Edge (TrueNicks,SRO)
. The son of Gulch was a multiple graded winner at 2 and went on the take the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) at 3. He is already
the sire of 11 juvenile winners, including a pair of black type runners.
Fairbanks (TrueNicks,SRO) also flies under the Margaux banner. The son of
Giant's Causeway (TrueNicks,SRO)
topped the 2004 Saratoga Select sale at $1.85 million and went
on to make good on the track. He was a multiple graded winner, including a win
in this year's Hawthorne Gold Cup (gr. II) and placed in the grade I Suburban
Handicap. He will enter stud at the new Northview-Pennsylvania operation in the
Keystone State.
