Grade I winner Dixie Chatter (TrueNicks,SRO)
is the first new U.S.-based stallion to enroll in TrueNicks for the 2010 season. As a
juvenile he broke his maiden at Hollywood Park over eventual grade I winner
Georgie Boy, before going on to capture the Norfolk Stakes (gr. I) at the Oak
Tree meeting. He earned black type six more times at 3 and 4, including a
handy score in the Arcadia Handicap (gr. IIT) on the turf.
Dixie Chatter is the first
major son of Dixie Union to stud. He's out of the Deputy Minister mare Mini
Chat, a daughter of champion juvenile filly Phone Chatter.
Dixie Chatter
will begin his career at River Edge Farm in California, the same farm that has
developed two of California's all time greats, Bertrando (TrueNicks,SRO) and Benchmark (TrueNicks,SRO), as well
as Tribal Rule (TrueNicks,SRO)
, the leading sire of his crop in the Golden State the past three
years.
