Theatrical (IRE) (TrueNicks,SRO)
's multiple grade stakes-winning son Hap (TrueNicks,SRO) is one of the latest stallions to join the Indiana stallion ranks. He is also among the newcomers to the TrueNicks roster for 2010.
Hap was one of the better middle distance turf runners earlier this decade, winning six graded events at 8, 8 ½ and 9 furlongs, including the Shadwell Keeneland Turf Mile (now a grade I fixture). Hap also ran a game second in the 2001 Arlington Million at 10 furlongs.
Out of the fast group 1-winning Hagley mare Committed, Hap's female family is chock full of blacktype. He is a full or half brother to two other stakes winners and his full sister, Belva is the dam of Eclipse Champion & champion English Channel (TrueNicks,SRO)
, an earner of $5,319,028.
Hap will stand the 2010 season at Still Creek farm in Indiana for a fee of $3,000.
