Belford Farm in Mt. Gilead, Ohio is the first Ohio farm to sign on with TrueNicks, enrolling their newest stallion, Bold Truth (TrueNicks,SRO).
While Bold Truth is the first TrueNicks stallion in the Buckeye State, he is among the last direct sons of Seattle Slew still in service. He was graded stakes-placed at Saratoga as a three-year-old and hails from the same female line as Hennessy. From limited opportunity, Bold Truth has already proven his mettle. With a first crop of only 17 foals, he has been represented by seven winners, including the stakes winning Bold Captain, successful in the Best of Ohio Juvenile Stakes last year, and runner-up in the 2009 Cleveland Gold Cup.
Bold Truth will stand the 2010 season for $2,000.
