Pin Oak Stud Renews With TrueNicks

Written by moneil | Oct 17, 2009

Pin Oak has developed such outstanding stallions as the late Maria’s Mon in recent years and Broken Vow (TrueNicks,SRO) is another one of their success stories. The son of Unbridled was a multiple graded winner under the Pin Oak silks and has come home to sire 25 stakes winners in his first five crops. Among his stars are the grade I winners Unbridled Belle and Cotton Blossom and 2009 graded winning 2yo Interactif.

The very promising Bob and John (TrueNicks,SRO) will stand his third season in 2010. He’s  a grade I winner by Seeking the Gold from the female line of Capote and Broad Brush.

Champion Sky Classic (TrueNicks,SRO) is the veteran of the Pin Oak roster. He’s been one of the better sons of the great Nijinsky II all along and is, in fact, his last direct son in Kentucky. Sky Classic has sired 103 stakes horses, 57 stakes winners and 20 graded winners in his productive career. Among those are nine grade I winners and/or champions.
