Richland Hills With TrueNicks Through 2010

Written by moneil | Oct 27, 2009

Richland Hills is home to four very promising young stallions.

Purim (TrueNicks,SRO) is the only grade I winning son of Dynaformer at stud. His big win came in the 2007 Shadwell Mile (gr.1) on the turf at Keeneland and he's also a graded winner on dirt. He hails from the same female line that has produced Dr. Fager and Unbridled.

Star Dabbler (TrueNicks,SRO) is a powerfully built son of Champion Sire Saint Ballado. Winner of the grade II Indiana Derby going two turns, Star Dabbler also ran second to Henny Hughes in the grade 1 King's Bishop Stakes at 7 furlongs. Sires like Distorted Humor, Elusive Quality, Tale of the Cat, and More Than Ready have all won or placed in the King's Bishop.

By emerging sire of sires Pulpit (Sky Mesa, Tapit, etc.), Sightseeing (TrueNicks,SRO) took the Peter Pan Stakes (gr. II) and placed in four other graded events in his three years on the track. He's a Phipps homebred out of a stakes winning (and grade I placed) Pleasant Colony mare who's a half-sister to a pair of graded winners.

Cougar Cat (TrueNicks,SRO) is a son of Storm Cat and four time grade I winner Excellent Meeting, who racked up over $1.4 million in earnings. He earned graded blacktype on both turf and dirt in his racing days.
