Murmur Farm Joins TrueNicks

Murmur Farm is home to four stallions, including Preakness Stakes (gr. I) winner Louis Quatorze (TrueNicks,SRO), currently ranked fourth on the Maryland general sire list. He has five stakes winners to his credit this year and is the sire of 36 stakes winners lifetime. Among his top runners are Bushfire (gr. I), Mr. Carrea (gr. I), Repent (gr. II) and Choctaw Nation (gr. II).

Scipion (TrueNicks,SRO) will be standing his third year in 2010 and he has the credentials to be a good one. He sold for $1.9 million at the Saratoga Select sale and went on to graded stakes glory. Furthermore, he's a son of A. P. Indy from a very stout female line. His dam, the graded stakes-winning Strawberry Road mare Strawberry Reason is also the dam of three other stakes performers including champion Vindication.

Rush Bay (TrueNicks,SRO) will stand his second year in 2010 and he too has a strong resume. Graded placed at two, Rush Bay went on to capture a pair of graded events at three and four. He's by Cozzene, who's son Mizzen Mast has acquitted himself very well at stud thus far.

After standing his first three years at Maryland Stallion Station, Cherokee's Boy (TrueNicks,SRO) is the latest edition to the Murmur lineup. The son of Citidancer won an incredible 14 stakes events in his five seasons of racing, placed in another 14, and racked up over $1.1 million in earnings.
