Oratory (TrueNicks,SRO), the #2 first crop sire in Maryland, missed the 2009 breeding season at Country Life Farm with an injury but it's all systems go for 2010. The son of Pulpit was never off the board in his racing career and carried the Darley silks to an impressive stakes record win in the Peter Pan S. (gr. II) at Belmont Park. Out of the multiple stakes winning Dehere mare Arrested Dreams, Oratory is already off to a promising start at stud. He's the sire of 11 winners, 2 stakes winners and is in a tight battle with Dance With Ravens for the top spot among the Maryland first crop stallions. He could well be the next successful son of Pulpit after Sky Mesa and Tapit.
