With over $1 million in 2009 progeny earnings, Lightnin N Thunder (TrueNicks,SRO) is the #1 stallion in Massachusetts. He’s a stakes placed son of Storm Cat out of the grade I winner Why Change. Multiple stakes winner La Chica Sensual ($365,660) and 2009 2yo stakes winner Criolla Bonita are among Lightnin N Thunder’s good runners so far.
Drewman (TrueNicks,SRO) ranks just behind Lightnin N Thunder on the Massachusetts sire list with over $900,000 in progeny earnings. By Unbridled out of a three quarter sister to Trolley Song, he’s a close relative to one of America’s top stallions, Unbridled’s Song.
Zong (TrueNicks,SRO) stands his first season in 2010. He is one of Unbridled’s Song’s many commercial successes, selling for $1.7 million as a weanling. He’s a full brother to the precocious graded stakes winner Half Ours and to $2.6 and $1.15 million yearlings. His dam, the Storm Cat mare Zing, is a full sister to the blazing fast stakes winner Yankee Gentleman, a top 12 first crop sire in 2007.
