Paul's Mill With TrueNicks in 2010

Through the years Ben Walden has developed outstanding stallions like Red Ransom, the leading first crop sire of 1994 (with a then record six first crop juvenile stakes winners). In 2010, we’ll see the debut crops of two more Walden-managed stallions in Bellamy Road (TrueNicks,SRO) and Artie Schiller (TrueNicks,SRO). They began their careers at Walden's Hurricane Hall and now anchor the roster at his newly christened Paul’s Mill property.

Bellamy Road was beyond sensational when he won the grade I Wood Memorial by over 17 lengths, earning a 120 Beyer Speed Figure. He’s by the Danzig grandson Concerto from a good Cynthia Phipps family (Versailles Treaty, etc.) Three of his first crop yearlings went for six figures last summer, including a $170,000 filly at Saratoga.

Seven-time stakes winner Artie Schiller’s signature win came in the 2005 Breeders’ Cup Mile (gr. I) at Belmont Park. Out of the multiple grade I wining Majestic Light mare Hidden Light, he’ll look to become the next successful son of El Prado after Medaglia d’Oro and Kitten’s Joy.

U S Ranger (TrueNicks,SRO) begins his stallion career at Paul’s Mill in 2010. He’s by Danzig out of My Annette, a daughter of Red Ransom and a three parts sister to Dynaformer and a half sister to the dam of 2009 leading first crop sire Offlee Wild. He was a perfect 3 for 3 as a juvenile and won or placed in seven stakes, picking up a pair of championships in Ireland along the way.
