Free TrueNicks Now Available on Six Turkish Jockey Club Stallions

The Turkish Jockey Club has enrolled six stallions in TrueNicks - recent acquisitions Dehere (TrueNicks,SRO) , Cuvee (TrueNicks,SRO) , Lion Heart (TrueNicks,SRO) , Powerscourt and Yonaguska (TrueNicks,SRO) as well as Victory Gallop (TrueNicks,SRO).

Turkey is the latest stop for U. S. Champion Two-Year-Old Dehere after standing in America, Japan and Australia. He’s made an impact everywhere he’s stood with runners like Australian Champion Belle du Jour and U. S. multiple grade I winner Take Charge Lady.

Lion Heart ranked behind only Tapit on the 2008 North American first crop sire standings. The son of Tale of the Cat was a grade I winner at 2 and 3 and was runner up to Smarty Jones in the Kentucky Derby (gr. I). He’s up to 12 stakes winners in his crops sired in American and Australia, including Pretty Prolific, a recent graded winner at Gulstream Park.

The Sadler’s Wells son Powerscourt has but one crop to race and he already has a good one in Termagant, winner of the group I Moyglare Stud Stakes last year. Out of a group winning daughter of Rainbow Quest, Powerscourt was group and grade I winner in Europe and North America in his racing days.

Yonaguska made an excellent start to his stud career when his haul of 26 juvenile winners was matched only by Johannesburg among the 2006 North American freshman sires. The Cherokee Run stallion has continued to be prolific source of winners and he’s the sire of Musket Man, one of the better three-year-olds in North America last year after winning a pair of graded events and placing in both the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) and Preakness Stakes (gr. I).

Victory Gallop is entering his third season at the Turkish Jockey Club. A Classic winning Champion in the United States, Victory Gallop has sired at least 29 stakes winners, including graded winners in North America and Japan.
