Elusive Charlie (TrueNicks,SRO) is by former Champion sire Elusive Quality who also lead all 2002 first crop stallions with six juvenile stakes winners. Out of the Desert Wine mare Not So Careless, Elusive Charlie is a half brother to a pair of stakes winners, including multiple grade I-winning millionaire Subordination. Elusive Charlie is also a brother to Sweet and Careless, the dam of 2009 Alabama Stakes (gr. I) winner Careless Jewel. Sweet and Careless is a sister to two more grade I winners in Cacoethes and Fabulous Notion, the dam of three-time grade I winner Fabulously Fast and granddam of 2009 graded winner Decelerator.
