Alex's Pal Joins TrueNicks

Alex's Pal (TrueNicks,SRO) certainly has a stallion’s pedigree being by the Valid Appeal son Valid Expectations, the leading first crop sire of 2001, out of the Fortunate Prospect mare Successful Dancer. This makes him a three quarter brother to Successful Appeal, the leading first crop sire of 2004 with a co-record six juvenile stakes winners and over $1.7 million in progeny earnings (a figure that, at the time, ranked second only to Danzig among first crop sires all-time).

With only two moderately sized crops at the races, Alex’s Pal has predictably been siring winners at a steady rate. He was a top three second crop sire in Pennsylvania in 2009 and among his best runners so far are Koko Kola Kitty, Pay Me Pal and the multiple stakes placed Quick and Gray.

Alex's Pal was a six-time winner in his racing career, conquering the likes of multiple stakes winner Gimmeawink and millionaire Cherokee’s Boy. He stands at Ghost Ridge Farm in Pennsylvania for a 2010 fee of $2,000.
