We are pleased to announce the addition of new Darley Australia stallions Denman (AUS) (TrueNicks) and Time Thief (AUS) (TrueNicks).
Group I-winning sprinter Denman retires as the best son of Australia’s leading third crop sire Lonhro (AUS) (TrueNicks,SRO). Denman won nine of twelve career starts, including the Golden Rose (gr. I) over 1400 meters. A half brother to VRC Sires’ Produce (gr. I) winner Preserve (by Canny Lad), his family includes Golden Slipper (gr. I) winner Dark Eclipse and Australian Horse of the Year Taj Rossi.
Time Thief, a $2 million yearling, is a stakes-winning and multiple group I-placed son of leading sire Redoute’s Choice. Time Thief won the 1200-meter Zeditave Stakes and placed second to eventual Champion 3-Year-Old Colt Whobegotyou in the Caulfield Guineas (gr. I). Produced from the group III-winning Jade Hunter mare Procrastinate, Time Thief is a three-quarter brother to South African champion sprinter Laisserfaire and promising young sire Foreplay (both by Danehill). Time Thief’s second dam, Reigntaine, is a full sister to Champion New Zealand Sire and Broodmare Sire Centaine.
Denman will stand at a fee of $38,500 including GST and Time Thief for $13,750 at Darley's Kelvinside stud in NSW's Hunter Valley.
