TrueNicks welcomes Roseglade Farm’s Margie's Wildcat (TrueNicks,SRO), a son of Storm Cat and Champion Three-Year-Old Filly Hollywood Wildcat.
Margie’s Wildcat is a half or full brother to five stakes horses, including Breeders’ Cup Mile (gr. I) winner and sire War Chant, English group II winner Ivan Denisovich, and stakes winners Ministers Wild Cat and Double Cat.
Margie’s Wildcat was bred by Marjorie and Irving Cowan, who also campaigned the dam, Hollywood Wildcat, a Kris S. daughter who captured the Breeders’ Cup Distaff (gr. I) and Hollywood Oaks (gr. I) en route to 1993 championship honors.
Margie’s Wildcat stands for a $2,000 fee at Hal Snowden Jr.'s Roseglade Farm near Wilmore, Ky.
