Warrior's Reward on TrueNicks, Will Stand at Spendthrift

Warrior's Reward (TrueNicks) is now available on TrueNicks, and the stallion prospect is likely to retire to Spendthrift after the Breeders' Cup.

A 4-year-old colt by Medaglia d'Oro, Warrior's Reward remains in training with Ian Wilkes for owner Steven Miles. Warrior's Reward won the seven-furlong Carter H. (gr. I) at Aqueduct in April over multiple graded stakes winners Musket Man and Munnings.

At three, Warrior's Reward won his debut at Gulfstream Park before recording a 113 Beyer Speed Figure with a victory over the aforementioned Munnings on Kentucky Oaks Day at Churchill Downs. That performance represented the highest Beyer recorded at Churchill Downs in 2009, as well as the highest for a 3-year-old colt that season along with Quality Road and I Want Revenge. Warrior's Reward also placed in the Jim Dandy (gr. II) and Dwyer Stakes (gr. II).

Produced from the Seeking the Gold mare For All You Do, Warrior's Reward hails from the family of English Champion 2-year-old filly Forest Flower, and sires High Yield and Old Forester.

For All You Do did foal a full brother to Warrior's Reward this year, and was bred back to Medaglia d'Oro.  I would be interested to see a full sister.

Warriors Reward has an awesome pedigree and it blows my mind that he can't get a distance of ground.  Seeking the Gold, Seattle Dancer, Graustark, and Princequillo as his first 4 dam sires is solid rock hard stamina.  I hope they price him nice so I can send my mare to him.
