TrueNicks Welcomes Street Magician

TrueNicks announces the addition of Street Magician (TrueNicks) to our stallion roster. The graded stakes-winning sprinter will stand at Northview Stallion Station near Chesapeake City, Md., for the 2011 breeding season.

The son of top sire Street Cry won the Hirsch Jacobs Stakes (gr. III, video below) over six furlongs and the Aventura Stakes over seven as a three-year-old. Last season, Street Magician won the Karl Boyes Memorial Stakes over five and a half furlongs, giving him stakes wins on both dirt and synthetic surfaces.

Produced from the Meadowlake mare Magical Meadow, Street Magician is bred on the identical cross to Apple Blossom (gr. I) and Go For Wand Handicap (gr. I) winner Seventh Street. Street Magician's second dam is stakes-winning sprinter Special Kell, by the Halo stallion Parfaitement, giving the stallion 4 x 4 doubles of both Halo and Raise a Native. This, of course, presents many interesting breeding options to build on these elements (for example, mares by More Than Ready).

Street Magician is the first son of Street Cry to stand in the mid-Atlantic region and will stand for a 2011 fee of $3,000.
