The stallions of Bybee Road Farm in Ranson, West Virginia, have joined TrueNicks. Unlimited free nicking reports are now available to breeders for Officer Rocket and Ghostly Numbers.
New for 2011 is Officer Rocket (GB) (TrueNicks), dead-heat winner of the Arlington-Washington Futurity (gr. III) while defeating eventual two-year-old champion Street Sense. A son of Officer—also sire of 2010 two-year-old standout Boys At Tosconova—Officer Rocket won stakes at six, seven, and eight furlongs, and placed second to eventual Horse of the Year Curlin in the Rebel Stakes (gr. III). He won or placed in 21 of 40 races while earning over $450,000. Officer Rocket was produced from the multiple grade I-placed Gone West mare Ocean View, a full sister to Alcibiades (gr. II) winner Westerly Breeze. He is also a half brother to the stakes-placed Sadler's Wells filly Desert View. Officer Rocket will stand for a private fee to approved mares.
The speedy Ghostly Numbers (TrueNicks) is a son of Danzig stallion Polish Numbers and the sprinting Silver Ghost mare Overdue Ghost. Ghostly Numbers was a multiple stakes winner at 5 and 5 ½ furlongs on dirt and turf. The chiefly sprinting family goes back to Relaxation, a half sister to top class filly Queen Hopeful, second in the Kentucky Oaks and second to champion Doubledogdare in the Spinster and Falls City Handicap. Ghostly Numbers has first crop yearlings of 2010 and stands for a private fee.
