The blazing fast colt Majesticperfection (TrueNicks,SRO) is now available on TrueNicks. He retires to Airdrie Stud for the 2011 breeding season.
A son of Florida Derby (gr. I) winner Harlan's Holiday, Majesticperfection is out of the Wavering Monarch mare Act So Noble. Initially named Cruisinforabruisen, the colt sold to Padua Stables for $370,000 after working an eighth in :10 1/5 at the 2008 OBS April sale.
The colt's obvious talent was not unveiled until his four-year-old season. Renamed Majesticperfection, he was third in his muddy debut before reeling off five consecutive wins, including the Iowa Sprint Handicap (video below) in a new track record of 1:07.24, and the Vanderbilt Handicap (gr. I, video below) while defeating eventual Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) winner Big Drama.
A video below shows Majesticperfection's trainer Steve Asmussen cheering the colt home to his grade I victory at Saratoga.
Majesticperfection will stand for a fee of $10,000, stands and nurses.
