Two stallions standing at Journeyman Stud in Ocala, Florida, have joined TrueNicks.

Awesome of Course (TrueNicks,SRO) is the sire of undefeated Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I, video below) winner and probable champion Awesome Feather. The son of Awesome Again was a stakes-winning sprinter at two and three, and was fourth in the 2002 Saratoga Special (gr. II). Awesome of Course boasts a beautiful female family: his third dam is champion mare Straight Deal, who traces back to La Troienne. Immediate family members include Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. I) winner Dangerous Midge, grade I winner Alwajeeha, and successful sire Belong to Me. Awesome of Course's group-placed stakes-winning dam Mais Oui (by Lyphard) has produced three stakes winners, and another of her daughters produced Hill Prince (gr. III) winner Krypton.
Sire of four crops to race, Awesome of Course has never had more than 10 foals in a crop. 16 of 20 lifetime starters are winners (80%), and four are stakes horses (20%). Awesome Feather, who sold for $2.3 million after her Breeders' Cup win, is one of only six current juveniles by Awesome of Course. His 2011 fee is $5,000.
Standing his first season in 2011 is graded stakes winner and course record holder Kiss the Kid (TrueNicks,SRO). A dual grade III winner on turf, stakes winner on slop, and grade I-placed on dirt in the Donn Handicap, the son of Lemon Drop Kid also lowered the Monmouth course mark to 1:40.02 for 8.5 furlongs. Kiss the Kid's dam is the winning Danzig mare Black Tie Kiss, a half sister to Horse of the Year Black Tie Affair and group I winner Great Palm.
Kiss the Kid was a $270,000 yearling at Keeneland September and would earn over $820,000 on the track. In a career that spanned five seasons, Kiss the Kid made an impressive 40 starts, and won or placed in 12 graded events. His stud fee is $3,500.
