I don't understand how Goldikova could only rate "B"
Hi Tom,
Goldikova isn't rated "B"; the Anabaa/Blushing Groom cross she is bred on is rated "B". TrueNicks is a sire line nicking program that reflects strike rate of sire line combinations, so it is a tool for breeders.

Thanks.
Tom,
You make out as if a "B" is a bad result!
"C" is the average for the opportunity (1.00 variant). "C" is actually also the average for the breed (the median horse of the breed rates a C). So a B (1.58) which Goldikova is, represents significantly better result than opportunity or the breed itself.
